Chap911 does not collect or transmit the words you type into the app.

Chap911 is designed to provide bedside spiritual care resources. At this time, the app does not require account creation.

Chap911 does not collect, store, or use personal information that you type into the app.

Depending on platform behavior, limited technical information may still be processed by Apple or related platform services, such as:

  • in-app purchase status
  • restore purchase status
  • app crash or diagnostic information provided by Apple
  • feedback you voluntarily submit through UserJot or email

Chap911 is not designed for storing patient records or protected health information.

If Chap911 allows temporary writing, reflection, or text entry, that information is not collected, stored by us, or used by us.

You should still avoid entering:

  • protected health information
  • medical record numbers
  • full patient names
  • personally identifiable health data
  • any confidential information you are not authorized to share

Chap911 is not intended to be used for charting, documentation, or record keeping.

Chap911 stores app state and app content locally on your device.

Chap911 does not store personal user-entered text or patient information on our servers.

Chap911 is not directed to children.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Chap911 after updates means you accept the revised policy.

Chap911 does not use typed user content for analytics, profiling, advertising, training, or any other purpose.

Limited information may only be used as needed to:

  • support in-app purchases and restore purchases through Apple
  • respond to support requests you voluntarily send
  • review bug reports, feedback, and feature suggestions you voluntarily submit through UserJot or email
  • improve app stability based on technical diagnostics made available by Apple or platform services

If you submit feedback, bug reports, or feature requests through UserJot, that information will be handled according to the information you choose to provide and UserJot’s own policies.

Please do not submit confidential, patient-identifying, or protected health information through feedback forms.

Chap911 may rely on third-party services such as:

  • Apple services for app distribution, purchases, and diagnostics
  • UserJot for feedback, bug reports, feature requests, and roadmap tracking

These services may process information under their own privacy policies.

  • prayers
  • scripture
  • rituals
  • belief guides
  • crisis guidance
  • chaplain self-care resources

Chap911 is intended as a bedside field guide for spiritual care support in settings such as hospice, hospitals, and other care environments.

Chap911 is not a substitute for:

  • medical advice
  • mental health treatment
  • legal advice
  • emergency services
  • institutional policy
  • clinical supervision
  • professional training or licensure requirements

You are responsible for using your own professional judgment in any bedside, hospice, hospital, or crisis setting.

If a situation involves immediate danger or emergency risk, contact the appropriate emergency, clinical, or institutional resources.

Chap911, including its original app design, written content, structure, layout, and feature set, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Certain scripture content may include public domain or permitted-use sources, including:

  • World English Bible (WEB)
  • selected Spanish scripture sources where included

You may not reproduce, redistribute, modify, or commercially exploit Chap911 content except as permitted by law or with written permission.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of Chap911 at any time.

We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors.

Chap911 is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • availability
  • reliability
  • fitness for a particular purpose
  • accuracy for every care situation
  • uninterrupted operation

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Chap911 after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Chap911 is not intended for charting, documentation, or recordkeeping.

You agree not to use Chap911 to store, manage, or transmit:

  • protected health information
  • medical record information
  • full patient names
  • confidential identifying information
  • any regulated or confidential records you are not authorized to disclose

Chap911 may include temporary text-entry or reflection features. Those features are not intended for storing confidential or protected information.

You are solely responsible for what you choose to type into the app.

Chap911 may offer a one-time in-app purchase to unlock full access to the field guide.

All purchases are processed through Apple. Billing, purchase management, restore purchases, and refunds are subject to Apple’s terms and policies.

You agree not to:

  • misuse the app
  • interfere with app functionality
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems or services related to the app
  • use the app in violation of law, institutional policy, or professional duty
  • submit confidential, patient-identifying, or protected health information through support or feedback tools

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chap911 and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or related to use of the app.

You are responsible for the way you use information and resources provided by Chap911.
